Thurlestone is situated in the South Hams area of Devon, near the picturesque village of Salcombe and the main town of Kingsbridge.

Thurlestone beach is a sweeping light shingle sand beach with sheltered waters which is safe for families. It has public toilets, and 2 main car parks with good access to the beach. There is also a beach café and shop for buying that essential bucket and spade !The beach is ideal for water sports and facilities close by mean you can go windsurfing, surfing, horse riding, sea and course fishing, canoeing, tennis and Scuba diving, to name just a few. There are plenty of opportunities to snorkel and explore the rock pools too.

Thurlstone village itself is full of picture box thatched cottages, a 13th century church and a popular 16th century traditional inn called the Village Inn. Here you can enjoy well kept real ales, an extensive wine list and a superb selection of freshly prepared meals – seafood a specialty.
