  • Picnicing

There are plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, sightseeing and picnicking along the Valley. The village of Axmouth with its thatched cottages was once a centre for smuggling and today provides a safe haven for mooring boats.

There are many traditional inns to stop and have a leisurely lunch in a warm, friendly atmosphere sitting outside on a warm day. If you love walking why not try the seven mile world famous Landslip Walk from Axmouth to Lyme Regis or horse riding, fishing, boating, swimming and golf, which are all on offer in this area.

Nearby is the Axe Valley Heritage Museum in Seaton free admission which gives an insight into life in the Axe Valley over a period of years.
