Situated in a beautiful, peaceful valley just outside Truro, Callestick Farm is run by Angela Parker and her husband. The Parker family have run the dairy farm for over 50 years and started producing their renowned ice cream 15 years ago and can now make over 5,000 litres of ice cream a day. Their own cows supply the milk and the fruit and confectionary are carefully sourced with their suppliers having to meet the very strictest of criteria - there are no artificial flavours here.

At Callestick Farm there is a lovely café where you can enjoy light lunches, snacks, hot and cold drinks and of course - ice cream. They have a viewing area so you can actually watch the ice cream being made and then purchase your favourite flavours along with other Cornish produce in the delicatessen or try them in their ice cream parlour.

Callestick ice cream comes in three main types – their clotted cream range, premium range and their sorbets. Choosing is the only problem – clotted cream and raspberries, butterscotch and pecan or passion fruit sorbet are just some of the many varieties on offer. Take a look at their website for the complete list of flavours – just be warned it is very tempting!

The village of Callestick itself is very pretty and from here you can visit the Cornish Cyder Farm, Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro, Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay or just explore the beautiful coastline between Perranporth and St Agnes.

Callestick Farm is open Monday – Saturday 9.30 – 5.30
