The Cornwall Flying Club (CFC) was established in 1972 and became CFC Ltd in 1978 and is dedicated to making aviation available to as many people as possible.

Whether you live in Cornwall, or are just enjoying a break or a visit to friends, trying your hand at flying couldn’t be simpler. Cornwall Flying Club is open 7 days a week and has five full time qualified instructors. The aeroplane generally used for training is the Cessna 152, although the Cessna 172 and the Robin 2160 are also available.

There are a variety of choices ranging from trial flights, gaining your pilots licence, residential courses are available with accommodation on site or at local Bed & Breakfasts – there is also a restaurant and bar on the airfield. If you already hold your Pilots license but would like to try something different they offer Aerobatic Training – one of their students now flies with the Red Arrows! The manoeuvres that you will learn to perform will be the Loop, Aileron Roll, Barrel Roll, Slow Roll, Stall Turn and Roll off the top of a Loop.

There are two runways at the airfield - all details can be found on their website - and you can fly your own plane into Cornwall and land at Bodmin by arranging by phone before hand with the Cornwall Flying Club. All Aerodrome fees and map showing surrounding area with area to be avoided shown in red are also found on their site.

A professionally run club that could make your dream come true very easily.
